As soon as I started reading it was impossible to put down! Mila Young has written another exciting and fast paced book in this unique series! Caeli, Monk, Krii and Declan kick this book off pretty much where book one ended! There characters are developed further in this book and we get to see how powerful Caeli can become. Monk is still my favourite of the three but they all bring something special to Caeli and I love how she is so feisty!! This is a quick read full of action, drama, steaminess and intrigue. Cannot wait to see what happens in book three...Highly recommended!
We pick up pretty much where we left off at the end of the first book in the second in this series. Caeli is feeling a little peeved at her men and doesn’t feel as fond of them as before (vague because of spoilers). However, she needs them to rescue her friend. But will events and people conspire against them and Caeli be taken away forever? This book is hot, fascinating, and frustrating (in a good way!). Fans of this author, of RH, and post-apocalyptic plots will devour this. Recommend this book, and I received a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
Caeli is just starting to get comfortable with the guys by this point but things very quickly take a turn for the worst when their domineering brother arrives. This makes for an interesting twists that throws a few kinks in the story/relationship that will keep you on your toes. A great addition to this series that will have wondering what will come next. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
I enjoyed this book, but as it is a second in this set, I need to go back and see how things started. I liked the characters from what I read, but don't know a lot about them. So reading the book before this one is recommended. I want to read it and hope it, well it seems to be left open for another book or more. I just started this series, so will see how it turns out.
Picking up where book one left off we watch as Caeli is rather ticked off at her men. It is really hard to give a review with no spoilers, but I will say that the action and suspense that shows up when she has to rescue her friend will keep you on the edge of your seat. I can not wait to see how Caeli's story will end. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book
